SPOTLIGHT ON ZIGGY THE ROCKSTAR
written by Mr. Dreamz Magazine www.mrdreamzmag.com
Interviewed by John Brown
How long have you been seriously in the music industry?
My career got really serious about 2 years ago. I accomplished
hundreds of live shows and several film features and became known as a Young Teen Celebrity.
For a teen, you already have thousands live performances under your belt!
What has been your best one ? The top#1 in your memory?
Well I wouldn’t say thousands but definitely hundreds. They all
have been great because I love being on stage. The one performance that stands out the most has
to be performing for the PeachDrop Celebration in Atlanta New Years Eve. It was
hour long set for me, the longest set I ever performed and I had my band backing
me up.. Straight Rocked It!! It was #EPIC
How can you describe your music style ?
My music is a mixture of Hip Hop, Rock and Pop. I can relate to all genres
and love to create music with a different style to keep my fans attention.
That’s so impressive to create such a big buzz being a very young solo artist? So what has been your secret?
Your strategy?
Well this passion I have for entertaining is deep so its kind of easy for me
to keep it 100 and not burn out because I love what I do. However I could not do
it without my management team who are my parents. They work around the clock the
making sure I have all it takes and the right people in place to make it happen.
I can’t thank them enough for all they do.
What are you cooking for the summer?
I just released my very first mixtape, POETIC JUSTICE Volume 1,
at the beginning of summer and now I am working on my EP. You can
listen and download a complimentary copy of my mixtape on my site
www.teamziggy.net The EP is gonna be even better and will have a few
surprise guests on it. I don’t have a release date for the EP yet.
Who is the best emcees in the game currently?
There are so many emcees doing it big right now. I must admit its hard for me
to even narrow it down because the music game has really stepped up to the
plate. I learn so much from all types of artists and genres.
Any particular message for all the Mr Dreamz magazine readers?
Follow your dreams and work hard at them. Nothing is ever given
to you and I’m not saying its gonna be easy but it’s definitely
going to be worth it once you have reached your goal.
I wanna send a shout to my fans #teamziggy and my management team & label
7Records South. Check out www.teamziggy.net. Stayed
tuned for the Ziggy The Rockstar clothing line..
Thank you Mr. Dreamz Magazines for this opportunity.

URBAN TEEN MAG. CELEB INTERVIEW WITH ZIGGY THE ROCKSTAR
|
Introducing Ziggy the Rockstar
By Naomi M'zNay' Bonman
SOPHISTICATED URBAN MAGAZINE www.summag-urban.com
SUMMag Editor-in-Chief
Atlanta, GA- The main objective of Sophisticated Urban Minds
(SUM) is to help promote youth and young adults who are achieving their dreams, so that they can inspire others. The music industry is one that many dream of making it into, and if are focused, have the talent and keep your eye on the prize, you can achieve that dream.
One of Atlanta’s very own is proving that anything is attainable with hard work and persistence. Ziggy the Rockstar is an All-American actor and recording artist who discovered his love for film and music at the tender age of 8. By the age of 10, he landed his first music gig and began to steal the hearts of the young and the more mature audiences.
Not only is Ziggy successful in the music industry, but he made great strides in the ‘Hollywood World’ as well. He has been featured in major films such as The Blind Side, Stomp the Yard and Lottery Ticket. Aside from the major blockbuster hits, Ziggy has also starred in several independent films, music videos and Broadway musicals. One of the stage productions that he started in was Speak Up & Speak Out, Don’t Be a Bully, where he starred as the Ambassador and Lead Bully Actor.
Even though Ziggy was successful in his career at a young age, he also made sure that he gave back to his community. He is the founder of “Rock Out Childhood Obesity (R.O.C.O)” which has received national recognition from Atlanta’s major Kasim Reed and First Lady Michelle Obama. He also wears his entrepreneur hat as the CEO of Ziggys Publishing House where he earns royalties.
Ziggy just released his first mixtape, Poetic Justice, which is available for download at www.teamziggy.net. Poetic Justice features a variety of remixes, such as “I’m a Boss,” which is one of Ziggy’s favorites. In the upcoming months and years, Ziggy plans on doing more concerts, continuing to give back and to own more businesses.
When he is not in the studio, Ziggy enjoys the average activities, which include writing, playing basketball, playing Xbox and spending time with loved ones.
For youth who want to get into the music industry or launch their own business, Ziggy advises those to “Keep doing what you love, and have fun. Don’t let anyone tell you anything different.”
